The Hollywood Music Video Awards are an annual international festival and award show held in Los Angeles, California to celebrate the art of music videos. The Hollywood Music Video Awards provide a platform for emerging artists and established professionals to showcase their work and gain recognition for their cinematographic creativity and skills. The HMVAs highlights that anyone can participate, and that quality, originality, and diversity are all valued.

Awards & Prizes

We have a variety of awards from Music Video of the Year, Director of the Year to the unsung heroes like Assistant Director of the Year and Post-Production Company of the Year.

We have awards by role accolades like Best Cinematography, Best Production Design, Best Hair & MakeUp, Best Editing and Best Visual Effects

We have accolades in music genres like Best Pop Video, Best Country, Best Rock, Best Dance, and Best International.

Lastly, we have accolades for film approach like Best Action, Best Thriller, Best Message, Best One-Take and Best Low Budget (5K and less).

Rules & Terms

- The music videos must be under 8 minutes. (with the exception submitting for "Best Visual Album")

- We accept videos that were published between the 1/1/2024 - 12/31/2024 or videos that are not yet published.

- Every winner will be awarded an honorary trophy statue. Additional statues and honors will be available after the ceremony.

- All information about submitted videos can be published by the Hollywood Music Video Awards without giving further notice.

- The Hollywood Music Video Awards are not responsible for legal disputes about the usage, or promotion of videos that were submitted illegally. Nor can they be held responsible to clarify the issues with the person that submitted the video.
