In America's oldest city, and home to the famous "Nights of Lights," the Holiday Shorts Festival offers a joyful celebration of short films related to the holiday season. We welcome films from all cultures and belief systems. Non English language shorts encouraged. Our screening takes place at the Waterworks, the historic exposed brick building that once served as the city's water supply facility.

For over 5 years the St Augustine Film Society has been producing a holiday shorts event for their members. This year we have decided to grow our event into a public festival.

Rules & Terms

All holiday-themed films 20 minutes or shorter are welcome. Films must be no more than 5 years old, and has never been screened in St Augustine, FL before. Foreign language films must have english subtitles. MP4 or MOV are the formats used for screening. Submitters must own all rights to the intellectual property, and agree to hold the St Augustine Film Society harmless from any legal claims. Final programming decisions are at the sole discretion of the festival.
