Histeria Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico en Costa Rica reúne una selección internacional actual de largometrajes y cortometrajes enmarcados dentro del género terror, ciencia ficción y fantasía. Es una ventana en Centro America para películas de cine fantástico. No solo para Latinoamérica, sino para el resto del mundo. Un punto donde se encuentran realizadores con sus películas, para que estas sean exhibidas y vistas.
Histeria International Fantastic Film Festival in Costa Rica brings together a current international selection of feature films and short films framed within the horror, science fiction and fantasy genre. It is a window in Central America for fantastic movies. Not only for Latin America, but for the rest of the world. A point where filmmakers with their films meet, so that they can be exhibited and seen.

Premio Internacional corto: entrada directa a Feratum Film Fest
- Guion cortometrajes de 5 páginas máximo de ficción, animación, documental de género terror, fantasía o ciencia ficción de cualquier parte del mundo
Premio: asesoría con Yolanda Barrasa. Script Doctor. Profesora en la Escuela Internacional de Cine y TV de San Antonio de los Baños, Cuba (EICTV)

National Award: $3000 equipment rental at CINEHOUSE
Short International Award: direct entry to the Feratum Film Festival short competition
- Script of short films of 5 pages top of fiction, animation, horror, fantasy or science fiction documentary from anywhere in the world
