A small northern New Brunswick, Canadian town, Dalhousie, opens it's cinematic doors to explore and screen Indie content from home and abroad. We are eager to present not just the more traditional forms of filmmaking but to also include touches of the vast creativity found on internet platforms of all types.

Last years festival saw 40 different works from 24 different New Brunswick directors and producers. Drama, Doc, Animation, Music and Experimental. We screened work created in French, English, Gaelic and Silence.

This year our call for submissions happily expands to include the FilmFreeway family and the Net at large. And there are even a couple of prizes available so far. :)

Welcome to the Heron Bay Film Festival and I look forward to seeing your work on the big screen.💥

Upward and Onward!!
