Filmmakers! We know you've dedicated endless hours to making your film. You've saved, scrounged and sacrificed in order to finish this movie. You've called in favors and inspired an entire crew of people to work for much less than they're worth. You've done all this to make an exceptional film about a remarkable story that needs to be seen.

That is why we invite you to the Hawk River Film Festival. We are committed to supporting and nurturing you and other filmmakers like you who share vibrant, thought-provoking stories with the audiences who need to see them.

That is why 6 short films will be selected to participate in the live theatrical screening at the Landmark Theater in Los Angeles, CA.

And that is why each of these filmmakers will be awarded a $1,000 cash prize.

Each selected film is awarded a $1,000 cash prize.
All selected filmmakers are invited to participate in a roundtable discussion with established film industry veterans.

-Logline
-Total Run Time of film not to exceed 30 minutes
-Names, contact info, links to prior work (if applicable) for Writer, Director, Producers
-Cast List, including links to prior work and short bio (200 words max)
-Films not in English require English subtitles
-Please note, incomplete submissions will not be considered.

The Representatives of the film by submitting the film to The Hawk River Film Festival attest that they are duly authorized to legally represent the film, and submit the film to the festival. Furthermore the representatives of the film assume full and complete responsibility for attaining all necessary rights and clearances to exhibit the film in a public setting.
The Representatives of the film take full and complete responsibility to ensure the legal ownership of all rights, performances, music in the film and all marketing assets and material prior to exhibition at the festival. The Representatives of the film guarantee that Hawk River Films, by publicly exhibiting the film at the Hawk River Film Festival will not violate or infringe any copyright, patent, privacy right, publicity right, trademark, service mark or any other personal or property right of any person or entity, and that the Project does not and will not constitute or include any defamation of any person or entity. All license fees, clearance fees, and other obligations, of any kind, arising from or associated with the exhibition of the Film in or in connection with the Festival, have been and will be timely paid in full. The Representatives of the film guarantee that the film is not subject to any litigation, arbitration, or other adversarial claim or proceeding, nor is the film the subject of any threat of litigation, arbitration, or other adverse claim or proceeding.
