Born in 1973, Harry Putz was already enthusiastically experimenting with his parents' video camera as a teenager. He began making mountain films in 1998, at a time when he was active as a professional snowboard athlete. He has been working as a freelance filmmaker since 2001, has gained experience in a wide variety of areas and has always made independent productions in mountain and documentary film. Since 2010, he has increasingly devoted himself as a filmmaker to nature films in connection with nature conservation and is thus closer to his purpose than ever before.
