Golden Door International Film Festival has taken its place among the most celebrated film festivals on the eastern seaboard.
Now in its 11th year, this four-day film festival holds the opportunity for filmmakers, actors, and crew to network with colleagues and share their work with the public in the heart of the indie filmmaking landscape.

In addition, GDIFF has also become one of the most important outlets for raising awareness for Autism and other disabilities through its innovative special needs panels and film platform.

Rules & Terms

New Jersey premieres only. If the film has screened in New Jersey prior to GDIFF your film may removed from the program even if accepted. Special exceptions may apply.
The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations. The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless Golden Door International Film Festival of Jersey City from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered
If film is accepted, the point of contact as found on the FilmFreeway submission must respond to all requested items by stated deadlines or risk being removed from the festival program.
Golden Door International Film Festival of Jersey City is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes.

    Bill and the entire Golden Door team put on a great in-person event, and also programmed great films. With Red carpet party events, a warm ethos of support to filmmakers and two venues of films playing all weekend, this is a great festival to plug into the NJ film community. This fest definitely brought Hollywood to Jersey City. I will be submitting my work again- highly recommend!
