Siamo entusiasti di presentare la seconda edizione del «𝗚𝗖 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹», un evento unico organizzato dai Giovani Costruttori per l'Umanità e dalla ONLUS Ponte di Umanità, in collaborazione con WeShort.

Fasi del Festival:
1) Fase di Iscrizione: dal 1° marzo al 1° settembre 2025, iscrivi il tuo cortometraggio per avere l'opportunità di essere selezionato.

2) Fase di Selezione: la Direzione Artistica del Festival esaminerà tutti i cortometraggi inviati e sceglierà quelli che parteciperanno alla serata conclusiva, comunicando l'esito della selezione entro il 6 Settembre 2025.

3) Fase Online: dal 6 al 10 Settembre 2025 sarà possibile votare il "Miglior Corto Social" mediante i canali indicati dagli organizzatori, il quale verrà poi proiettato durante la serata conclusiva del festival e riceverà un riconoscimento apposito.

4) Serata Conclusiva: il 12 settembre 2025 serata conclusiva del festival.
I cortometraggi selezionati verranno proiettati presso il cinema Multisala Cynthianum di Genzano di Roma. Durante la serata conclusiva del festival verranno annunciati e premiati i vincitori dei premi indicati nel regolamento.

We are excited to present the second edition of the GC Film Festival, a unique event organized by Giovani Costruttori per l'Umanità and the non-profit organization Ponte di Umanità, in partnership with WeShort!

Our festival is a charity event that aims to celebrate human solidarity through the power of cinema.

Submit your short film and be part of this extraordinary adventure!

Festival Phases:
1) Registration Phase: open until September 1st, 2025. Submit your short film for a chance to be selected.

2) Selection Phase: the Artistic Direction will review all submitted short films and choose those that will participate in the final evening, announcing the outcome of the selection by September 6, 2025.

3) Online Phase: from 6 to 10 September 2025 it will be possible to vote for the "Best Social Short", which will then be screened during the final evening of the festival and will receive a specific recognition.

4) Final Evening: on September 12th 2025, the selected short films will be screened at the Multisala Cynthianum cinema in Genzano di Roma, where the winners will be announced and awarded.

⭐ 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗼 - 𝗪𝗲𝗦𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱:
Il cortometraggio vincitore del Festival avrà l'opportunità unica di essere distribuito sulla piattaforma di streaming WeShort, ampliando la sua visibilità e raggiungendo un vasto pubblico internazionale.

Verranno inoltre assegnati i seguenti premi:
● Miglior Regia
● Miglior Sceneggiatura
● Miglior Fotografia
● Miglior Scenografia
● Miglior Colonna Sonora
● Miglior Attore
● Miglior Attrice
⭐ Premio speciale SLIM DOGS: il vincitore verrà invitato su un set legato al canale Slim Dogs

Verrà infine individuato tramite votazione online il cortometraggio a cui verrà assegnato il riconoscimento:

⭐ Best Short Film - WeShort Award:
The winning short film of the Festival will have the unique opportunity to be distributed on the streaming platform WeShort, expanding its visibility and reaching a broad international audience.

Additionally, a winner will be selected and awarded for excellence in their category among the following:

● Best Director
● Best Screenplay
● Best Cinematography
● Best Production Design
● Best Soundtrack
● Best Actor
● Best Actress
⭐ SLIM DOGS Special Prize: the winner will be invited to a set linked to the Slim Dogs channel

Finally, through online voting, a short film will be selected for the recognition:

- Il GC FILM FESTIVAL è un evento di beneficenza: l’intero ricavato sarà devoluto alla Missione in Sierra Leone della Diocesi di Albano Laziale, progetto che verrà anche presentato nel corso della serata.

- Il GC Film Festival si svolgerà la sera del 12 Settembre 2025 presso il Multisala Cynthianum, situato in Viale Giuseppe Mazzini 9, Genzano di Roma (RM). I corti che supereranno la fase di selezione che si conclude il 1° settembre verranno proiettati in sala e valutati dalla giuria, dopodiché si procederà con la cerimonia di premiazione.

- Inviando il tuo film ci autorizzi a proiettarlo pubblicamente e dichiari che non esiste video, immagine, musica o suono di cui non possiedi i diritti.

- I dati forniti agli organizzatori del festival saranno utilizzati esclusivamente per scopi organizzativi ed operativi del festival. Pertanto l’organizzazione si riserva il diritto di utilizzare i dati forniti dai partecipanti per le comunicazioni organizzative inerenti il festival.

- La gara è aperta ad aspiranti registi e a troupe di filmmakers di qualsiasi livello, età e nazionalità. Ogni partecipante potrà iscrivere alla selezione un solo cortometraggio.
- I cortometraggi possono essere editi o inediti.
- Durata: la durata massima del cortometraggio non deve superare i 20 minuti, titoli inclusi.
- Lingua: I cortometraggi possono essere presentati in qualsiasi lingua, ma devono essere forniti con sottotitoli in italiano se la lingua originale non è l'italiano.
- Il contest è a tema libero, il che significa che la selezione dei cortometraggi che parteciperanno alla serata di proiezione del 12 Settembre 2025 non avverrà secondo un criterio tematico. Tuttavia, incoraggiamo corti che esplorino tematiche umanitarie e sociali, legate alla solidarietà, alla fratellanza, all'inclusione sociale e alla costruzione di un mondo migliore, utilizzando il genere che più riterranno congeniale.
- Ai partecipanti verrà comunicato l’esito della selezione entro la giornata del 6 Settembre 2025
- Dal 6 al 10 Settembre 2025, tutti i cortometraggi correttamente iscritti al Festival, anche gli eventuali esclusi dalla serata di proiezione, gareggeranno per ottenere il Premio Miglior Corto Social. Qualora il premio venisse vinto da un cortometraggio escluso dalla prima fase di selezione, questo guadagnerà il diritto di proiezione durante la serata del 12 Settembre 2025 e pertanto la possibilità di concorrere per l’assegnazione di ulteriori Premi.
- Il partecipante autorizza il GC FILM FESTIVAL alla ricondivisione integrale o parziale del cortometraggio tramite i canali social dell'evento, sempre nei limiti e ai fini del festival.
- Il partecipante dichiara in generale di accettare le condizioni riportate all'interno del Regolamento, scaricabile sul sito ufficiale:

- The GC FILM FESTIVAL is a charity event: all proceeds will be donated to the Mission in Sierra Leone of the Diocese of Albano Laziale, a project that will also be presented during the event.
- The GC Film Festival will take place on the evening of September 12, 2025, at Multisala Cynthianum, located at Viale Giuseppe Mazzini 9, Genzano di Roma (RM). Shorts that pass the selection phase, ending on September 1st, will be screened and evaluated by the jury, followed by the awards ceremony.
- By submitting your film, you authorize us to publicly screen it and declare that you have all necessary rights to any video, image, music, or sound included.
- The data provided to the festival organizers will be used exclusively for organizational and operational purposes of the festival. Therefore, the organization reserves the right to use participants' data for organizational communications related to the festival.
- The competition is open to aspiring directors and filmmaking crews of any level, age, and nationality. Each participant may submit only one short film for selection.
- Short films can be previously released or unreleased.
- Duration: The maximum duration of the short film must not exceed 20 minutes, including credits.
- Language: Short films can be in any language but must be provided with Italian subtitles if the original language is not Italian.
- The contest is open-themed, meaning the selection of short films for the screening on September 12, 2025, will not be based on thematic criteria. However, shorts exploring humanitarian and social themes related to solidarity, brotherhood, social inclusion, and building a better world will be preferred, using any genre deemed appropriate.
- Participants will be notified of the selection results by September 6, 2025.
- From September 6 to 10, 2025, all short films correctly submitted to the Festival, including those not selected for the screening event, will compete for the Best Social Short Film Award. If this award is won by a short film excluded from the initial selection phase, it will earn the right to be screened during the September 12, 2025 event and thus the opportunity to compete for additional awards.
-The participant authorizes the GC FILM FESTIVAL to re-share the short or part of the short film via the event's social channels, always within the limits and for the purposes of the festival.
- The participant generally declares his or her acceptance of the conditions stated within the Rules and Regulations, which can be downloaded from the official website:
