Giacinto Cerviere is an architect and visual artist. His practice operates at the intersection of architecture, cinema, and visual research, exploring themes such as identity, temporality, memory, and the political presence of bodies within marginal, post-industrial, and transforming landscapes. His films and installations form part of an ongoing investigation into territorial aesthetics, utopia, and infrastructural memory. As a filmmaker, he made his debut in 1998 with the documentary “Nonluogo e Progetto” (20'). In 2023, he presented the short film “The Prison” (2'40") at the Sicilian festival Architects Meet Selinunte. “Pyramidshire”, his third film (15'), was released in June 2024 and has been selected by numerous international festivals, including the San Francisco Frozen Film Festival in 2026. The 2025 mid-length film “Ultravalvola” (29') is his latest experimental work.
