Hosted under the newly established festival domains www.ki-filmfestival.eu and www.ai-filmfestival.eu, the event creates a unique platform bringing together national and international filmmakers, technology enthusiasts, and lovers of the arts.

From Wednesday through Sunday, AI-assisted films from around the world will be presented, ranging from short experimental works to feature-length productions of 5 to 60 minutes. The festival is conceived as both a complement to and an extension of the Biberach Film Festival, offering a vibrant space for dialogue, curiosity, and innovation.

“Artificial intelligence is transforming the way we tell stories at an extraordinary pace,” says Corinna Palm, theatre director, film enthusiast, and owner of the Stadtbuchhandlung. “With the AI Film Festival, we want to demonstrate that technology and art are not opposites, but forces that can inspire and enrich one another.”

The festival was initiated by Palm together with Uli Stöckle, film producer and filmmaker.
The curator is Marcel Barsotti, one of Europe’s pioneering AI filmmakers and an acclaimed film composer.
The festival will be hosted and moderated by Tobias Meinhold, former chairman of the Biberach Film Festival.
