Georgia Overby is a native of San Diego, California. Her love for visual storytelling began at a young age and inspired her to begin making short films when she was just 12 years old. Currently, Georgia is a student at New York University and majoring in Film and Television. She is set to graduate in spring 2026. A perfect day for Georgia is either being on set or being in the animation studio. Georgia gets inspiration from the wonders and terrors of nature, and her body of work includes stop-motion animation, and live action fantasy and comedy. Georgia is excited to share her work with film festivals, and to continue her filmmaking journey.
