Young solo hiker Cherry and her Mother agree on very little so when her mother appears out of the blue to try and talk her out of her next hike, Cherry thinks nothing of it. As the mother and daughter eat and chat about the upcoming day, Cherry starts to become aware that something is very wrong and that isn't her mother.

Director Biography - Georgia Overby

Georgia Overby was born and raised in sunny San Diego, California. Her love for visual storytelling began at a young age and inspired her to begin making short films when she was just 12 years old. Currently, Georgia is a student at New York University and majoring in Film and Television. She is set to graduate in spring 2026.

Director Statement

This was a project brought to life through great love. It is a mother-daughter story but also the story of the great danger it is to be born a woman. Our Protagonist Cherry realizes this danger too late when the place she felt the most safe is invaded by a man and she suffers the consequences of this meeting.
