    Hello GTX...
Folks I’m writing my review now and by design ...this late ... I want it to be one of the first reviews you see. This is a festival for filmmakers for sure. You must jump on this wagon as soon as your film is ready. It’s in beautiful Georgetown and your film is screened on a big screen... movie screen! If you have never seen your film on the big screen ...you must at least try. It’s truly amazing. These guys understand how important that really is. So give this festival a shot!
Cindy , Eric , Roxanne and Lisa, ( and to the others who are a big part too...)
Cindy, keep at it! You are
on the right track and your heart is totally in it. Your success is guaranteed. And to find out you are from Slapout, Oklahoma was a bonus. I’m still laughing about that... for good reasons.
Roxanne, stay funny. Your up beat attitude was sold on us all. It was contagious.
Eric, thank you for the hard job of technical work. Sound was great and screenings were beautiful. Very professional and very nice to see the festival’s confidence in you. Well deserved.
Lisa, wow, not sure what to say. Your communication was magnificent. I’d have been lost without your help. Thanks for helping this techno nutcase out. Would like to meet you and hopefully will if we are lucky enough to be chosen again for the festival.

And I’d like to thank all of you so much for choosing our film as your Best Texas Short. We were and still are blown away.

So guys ... just submit. Help this new fest out. You won’t regret it. And in the true style of Texas the hospitality is superb.

    Can’t wait to come back,
    Katt Gilcrease

  • A big thank you to Erik, Cindy, Roxanne and the rest of the GTX crew. Though Covid prevented an in-person event, the festival did a great job at putting on the fest and making the filmmakers a part of the event. We hope to be back in person!
