I joined the 7th Future Gate Sci-fi Film Festival during four days in January-February 2020.
Our humble film "h0us3" was honored to be part of the line-up and was screened twice during the festival in Prague.
The location of the film festival screenings were the LUCERNA cinemas, located not far from the city center. The main large room keeps the spirit of old cinemas, but improved with the latest technologies. It is a pleasure in all aspects to watch a film there.
The amount of films screened was just right. Not too short nor too large. You could schedule your agenda and watch basically all the ones you wanted to watch.
The organization of the film festival was their top value. I was received by Kamila in the airport and she remained my contact person for the whole film festival, which was very very nice. She took us to different activities (a visit to the famous Barrandov film studios or a Escape Room sci-fi game). The host for the screenings was Martin, experienced in Public Relationships and with enough charm to capture any audience. Still the weight on the film festival falls on Filip and Andrej, as heads and founders on the film festival. Specially with Andrej, I had the pleasure to enjoy long talks about new technologies, films and science fiction. Filip and Andrej have built a reliable team around them: People encouraged by what they do, with a passion for films which is visible to the audience.
I have attended around 20 film festivals in the last year, and the Edinburgh International Film Festival and the Future Gate Sci-fi Film Festival are both on the top of my list.
    BRAVO
