Freewheeling Film Awards is an international short film competition with an annual awards ceremony, rooting for independent films.
Our state of mind is to boost the way of filmmaking. Giving a voice to those who have a significant storytelling. We want to screen your hard work.
Quarterly (fall, winter, spring and summer), our jury elects the best of each category. The annual competition will start after the seasonal phases. Every winner will be automatically qualified for the final round.
2026-2027 Seasonal winners: fall, winter, spring and summer. Then the finals in October 2027.
All seasonal film winners (fall, winter, spring and summer) will be online for a day and will compete to be the best of the best each year for the chance to be screened at the annual ceremony in London.
For our annual event, the best of the best will compete to get the Freewheeling Award of the year. The winners can get their trophy and will be listed on our website. The annual awards ceremony will take place in London, at The Castle Cinema.
