As part of the White River Indie Film Festival, filmmakers 10 to 18 screen their films in an online premiere in June, followed by a socially distant outdoor screening in White River Junction, VT. After the selected films screen at our contest, they will be considered by Vermont PBS and Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival

Freedom and Unity is working to help young filmmakers develop their skills and provides an work-in-progress deadline to provide feedback. We pride ourselves in helping develop our filmmakers, connecting them to opportunities and creating a community.

Freedom and Unity Young Filmmaker's Contest is proud to offer selected films the opportunity to be screened on Vermont PBS and may also be selected to screen at Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival.

Following the screening, awards will be given to selected filmmakers in their given categories.
