IMPORTANT NOTE FOR SUBMISSION & PARTICIPATION:
RULES & REGULATIONS — France International Film Festival & Art Academy Award

1. Eligibility
The festival is open to filmmakers, artists, production companies, students, and independent creators from all countries.

Films completed after January 1, 2020, are eligible for submission unless otherwise specified.

2. Submission Requirements
All films must be submitted through FilmFreeway.

Non-English language films must include English subtitles.

Entrants must own all rights necessary for public screening and festival participation.

4. Selection Process
All submissions will be reviewed by the festival’s international jury panel.

Official Selections, Finalists, Nominees, and Award Winners will be announced on the festival’s official platforms.

The jury’s decision is final and cannot be challenged.

5. Screening Policy
Selected films may be screened during festival events, private jury screenings, or festival partner venues.

Screening schedules and formats are determined solely by the festival management.

6. Awards
Winners will receive official laurels, certificates, and award recognitions.

Additional special awards may be presented at the discretion of the jury.

7. Submission Fees
All submission fees are non-refundable.

Entry fees do not guarantee nomination, selection, screening, or awards.

8. Copyright & Responsibility
The submitter retains all ownership and copyright of the submitted work.

The festival assumes no responsibility for copyright infringement claims arising from submitted materials.

The entrant is solely responsible for securing all necessary permissions, licenses, and clearances.

9. Promotional Use
By submitting, participants authorise the festival to use film stills, posters, trailers, Synopsis, and excerpts of up to 60 seconds for promotional and marketing purposes.

The festival may promote selected projects through its website, social media platforms, press releases, and partner media outlets.

10. Notification
All communication regarding selections, nominations, and awards will be sent via FilmFreeway and/or official festival email.

11. Disqualification
Entries containing misleading information, copyright violations, offensive content, or fraudulent claims may be disqualified without notice.

12. Festival Rights
The festival reserves the right to modify event dates, venues, categories, awards, jury members, or festival formats if necessary.

The festival reserves the right to refuse any submission that does not comply with these rules and regulations.

13. Acceptance of Rules
Submission to the France International Film Festival & Art Academy Award constitutes full acceptance of all festival rules and regulations.

The decision of the Festival Management and Jury Committee shall be final and binding in all matters.
