Flatness Film Awards

Please read these Rules & Terms carefully before you submit your film. By submitting your film into competition in the FLATNESS FILM AWARDS (FFA), you expressly acknowledge and agree that you shall be bound by the terms of these Rules & Terms.

1-The individual or entity submitting the film here by warrants that it possesses the legal right and authority to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts the terms contained herein.
2-Films must have been completed within the past five years.
3-All fees are non-refundable.
4-All genres are accepted with a maximum length of 45 minutes or less.
5-There is no premier status requirement for films that would like to enter the competition.
6-Any foreign film that is not in English must have English subtitles. Dialogue lists are not accepted.
7-Works in progress will NOT be accepted.
8-No postal submissions accepted.
9-The festival won’t pay any fees to films that enter competition.
10-Our Judges are free to make their own choices and no answers will be given about not selected films.
11-No film may be withdrawn from the festival program after it has been selected. Judging decisions are final.
12-Submitting your movie, you authorize The Flatness Film Awards(FFA) to use, distribute and share the film poster, trailer, synopsis and movie stills in our website and social media.
13-Entrant further represents and warrants that the submission adheres to the fundamental spirit of the competition and does not contain any defamatory, obscene, or any unlawful matter.
14-Film ENTRIES may be screened more than once at Flatness Film Awards (FFA) or at any future FFA event.
15-All authors, filmmakers and all owners of the ENTRIES including film submissions waive the right to collect any screening fees from FFA and waive the right to collect any other fees associated therewith.
16-Filmmakers are responsible for obtaining any necessary licenses, royalties, release forms, clearances and permits necessary to present their work. The Flatness Film Awards(FFA) is not responsible for any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits or royalty infringement related to the work. If your work is accepted into the festival, we must be able to screen it without any encumbrances whatsoever.
17-The management can take decisions on issues not mentioned in this set of rules.
18-Submission of an entry to our festival signifies that the entrant understands, accepts and agrees to these conditions.
