The Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival highlights a collection of the most inspiring and thought-provoking cultural, environmental, outdoor and adventure-related documentary films from around the world.

As a mostly volunteer-run effort, any profits from the event are reinvested into future festivals or donated to a non-profit agency doing work in our community and beyond.

Situated just one hour south of the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff's high altitude desert setting makes a spectacular base for outdoor and film enthusiasts to get together and enjoy this unique environment along with high quality film entertainment.

Flagstaff Mountain Films was a joy to attend! Justin Clifton brings his years of acumen on the festival circuit to orchestrate a festival that cares about the land and the people who love it. Our screening of "Trailblazers" was a well-attended blast. Even more impressive, was the way the entire festival built community in Flagstaff around meaningful issues. The collaboration was off the charts. Screening at FMF was great for my film - and it did my soul good!

It looked like a great year and hope to attend future festivals.

FMFF had fantastic communication, and included our film in a the coolest shorts program ever, platforming incredible adventurous women. I was sadly unable to attend, but was really impressed with the way they marketed the film, and the way they treat their filmmakers. Thank you FMFF!

It was an honour for our film 'Wild Aerial' to play at FMFF. We felt the spirit of the community and enjoyed engaging with audiences through the Rad Women Rock panel and aerial class with Q&A. Thank you to all the folks who worked tirelessly behind the scenes and made us feel at home in Flag.
