The First City Film Festival in its first year was well run and organized and a lot of fun. It will grow in the years to come, and I was very happy to screen our film WALK at this year's FIRST First City FIlm Festival!

I had a fantastic time attending the Frist City Film Festival. This was there first go at having a festival and I felt that it ran smoothly and enjoyed a lot of the films that were shown. The curators were very helpful and kind. Definitely attending again.

In its inaugural year, First City Film Festival got nearly everything right and did it with a smile. A filmmaker's festival run by filmmakers, the results were great and the crowd was savvy and appreciative of the artists who attended. Drawing crowds from the Midwest Metros as well as KC, the city of Leavenworth could not have been more gracious and accommodating. I plan to be back next year with a new film.

For a first time festival this year, Leavenworth was a very exciting place to discover again. I had not been there in several years and it was fun. The catering, the atmosphere, and the people were all top notch. Only one minor technical issue with a screening room that was too bright from the outdoor sunlight coming in, and washing out one of the screenings. However, I mentioned it to one of the festival peeps and they blacked out the windows quickly. :D I will definitely be back.
