I am a multimedia artist working predominantly in film and photography since 2001.
My work documents the continuum of London’s queer history, investigating individual identities within gay subcultures in a celebration of beauty, city and experience.
My process focuses an intensive, ritualistic concern with analogue technologies and the formalist approach of traditional studio portraiture and image making in a strong and deeply intimate aesthetic style.
Through my iconic mission statement ‘Keep the Faith’, my work is an affirmation of the present through a reverence for the gay past. `
Originally a Roman Catholic boy , I was born in the North of England in 1982 and moved to London in 2000.
