Film With Pride showcases LGBT+ films from established and new filmmakers to diverse audiences across Liverpool City Region.
Films submitted as part of this festival will have the opportunity to be screened as part of LCR Pride Foundation's year-round LGBT+ events, special screenings and online watch parties.
PLUS! As a partner of the worlds largest short film festival IRIS - LCR Pride Foundation has the opportunity to nominate one short film to be shown as part of the festival, streamed on Channel 4 online and be in with the chance of winning £20,000 towards their next production - an amazing prize.
Submissions are now open and will remain open until end of May 2025.
Selections may be made during this time, so be sure to enter early. LCR Pride Foundation reserves the right to close submissions early or make selections/submissions before the closing date.
You can submit in three categories:
- Films made or based in, or with a connection to (including the filmmaker's connection) to the Liverpool City Region (this will be the category we make our IRIS selection from)
- Films made or based in, or with a connection to (including the filmmaker's connection) in the UK
- Open call, any LGBT+ short films.
Submissions are welcomed from filmmakers of all backgrounds, mediums and experience levels.
