GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Only audiovisual products that are Spanish-speaking are accepted, if they are in another language, they must contain subtitles or transcriptions of dialogues in Spanish.
Only audiovisual products are accepted in the following formats: mp4, avi, mpeg, flv, wmv, in any resolution.
The theme of audiovisual works should deal with the METAL musical genre in any of its subgenres.
Audiovisual works of any year, whether unpublished or not, are accepted.
Works that are available to the public on the internet and that have been exhibited at exhibitions or festivals are accepted.
The festival is not liable for copyright infringement incurred by the audiovisual material. If this situation arises, the participant must assume the criminal and judicial responsibility that this implies, according to the applicable legislation.
INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION
In the following categories may participate in audiovisual works of all nationalities whose production is not predominantly Colombian and the registration has a value of $5 USD.
FICTION FEATURE FILM
Only audiovisual products that are greater than 30 minutes and less than 120 minutes are accepted.
FICTION SHORT FILM
Only audiovisual products that are longer than 2 minutes and less than 30 minutes are accepted.
DOCUMENTARY FEATURE FILM
Only audiovisual products that are greater than 30 minutes and less than 120 minutes are accepted.
DOCUMENTARY SHORT FILM
Only audiovisual products that are longer than 2 minutes and less than 30 minutes are accepted.
VIDEOCLIP
Only audiovisual products whose maximum duration is 7 minutes are accepted
Only audiovisual products with a dramatic or narrative content are accepted where a sequence of events is presented where a story is narrated under the classical dramatic structure, the relationship of the image with music can be linear, of adaptation and of superposition.

SHIPPING OF THE MATERIAL
All films must register through the platform FilmFreeway in https://filmfreeway.com/Ficime.
NO registrations will be received outside the established platforms, or exhibition copies for the pre-selection process on DVD, Blu-ray and other physical media, without exceptions.
The registration must be made only by who owns the patrimonial rights (director, producer, scriptwriter, musicians) of the work.
SELECTION AND PROGRAMMING PROCESS
The Programming area of the International Film and Metal Festival - FICIME, will be in charge of selecting the films that will participate in the different categories of the Official Competition and the Festival may invite other works to make up one of the Special Programs designed for this edition, which will have face-to-face screenings with the presence of the directors and / or producers.
The Official Selection will be announced on or before May 30, 2021 on the festival's website and the filmmakers will be notified via email where they can download the laurels of the 2021 Official Selection.
USE OF AUDIOVISUAL MATERIAL
With the inscription to the festival the participant accepts the use of 10 seconds of the audiovisual work, for diffusion purposes in promotionals videos of the festival.
JURIES AND PRIZES
The prizes of each of the Official Competitions will be announced at the closing ceremony of the festival.
The Jury of the Official Competitions will be made up of professionals from the audiovisual and musical sector chosen by the Festival.
The producers and directors of the films that have been selected and / or awarded commit themselves to mention in all the publicity and press material, the International Film and Metal Festival - FICIME, using the logo and the laurels that will be available for the participants.
ACCEPTANCE OF THE REGULATION
The registration of an audiovisual work in the festival means the acceptance of this regulation.
