Festival Kratkog Metra Novigrad

FKM Novigrad is an international festival in Croatia and the only festival in the Istrian County that is dedicated exclusively to short format films. It takes place in mid-September in the city of Novigrad; indoors and outdoors. With a rich program consisting of films from the region and international titles and film language ranging from action to animated short films, the public can attend free workshops and various masterclasses. The aim of the festival is to enhance and promote the art of cinema in the form of short films and to give the authors the greatest possible visibility. We want to showcase all those independent works of value that do not find space in the commercial distribution of Croatian and international cinema, as well as to create a meeting place for all professionals in the sector.
FKM is an opportunity to learn and meet; for some a first door that opens onto the world of cinema.
