The FIFAK is the oldest cinema event in Tunisia since 1964 and the most important gathering of young filmmakers, film enthusiasts, and students from film schools in Tunisia.
The festival is an essential venue for discovering talent and artistic creativity among young filmmakers, some of whom have become famous. Distinguished guests who have visited FIFAK include over 1200 people from festival participants, members of the FTCA (Tunisian Federation of Amateur Filmmakers), various Tunisian film associations, film school students, professionals, and guests from the industry, as well as the increasing number of tourists who try to align their stay with the festival.
The opening ceremony will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2025, starting at 9:30 PM, and the closing ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, starting at 9:30 PM at the open-air theater. Every evening, there will be screenings of films participating in the following official competitions : International Competition - FTCA National Competition, Independents and Schools - Screenplay Competition - Photography Competition.
During the day, there will be Film Debates, Workshops, Symposiums, Round Tables, and Meetings.
In parallel with the official screenings, the organizing committee will hold an off-program during the afternoons from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and evenings from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM in the form of concerts, cine-concerts, shows, animations, and screenings open to the public in Kélibia.
