The International Festival Cinema and Transcendence reaches its 11th edition with the theme: “Love, a revolutionary act,” presenting a modern perspective and a vanguard reinterpretation to explore the power of love through political, humanitarian, and personal lenses. In a world in crisis, the event proposes love as an ethical, political, and transformative practice.

Throughout its trajectory, the Festival has established itself as a space for experience and reflection, where audiences are invited to engage with cinema as an aesthetic and personal experience capable of generating meaning and transformation. The curation, composed of recent national and international films (2022–2025) as well as invited works without a specific release date, will showcase productions that address love in its personal, collective, political, and spiritual dimensions, encouraging a contemporary reflection on the need to reconnect with others and with the essential aspects of life.

Rules & Terms

1. Completion Date: The film must have been completed within the last 4 years;

2. Running Time: Feature Films: 60 minutes or more.

3. Preview Copy: Usually submitted as a digital screener (MP4, Vimeo link, etc.).

4. Subtitles: If the film is not in the official language of the festival (Portuguese), subtitles are required.

5. Formats for Exhibition: digital files in High Resolution

6. Rights & Permissions
The filmmaker must own or have cleared all intellectual property rights, including:
Music/Footage/Images
You grant the festival the right to screen the film and use stills or clips for promotional purposes;

7. Promotional Materials: If selected, you’ll usually need to provide: A trailer or teaser, Film stills, Director’s bio and photo, Synopsis (short and long versions), Press kit
