El Festival Bragado Cine tiene como objetivo promover y difundir la cultura cinematográfica en Bragado y alrededores de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, ofreciendo un espacio de exhibición y reconocimiento para cineastas locales e internacionales. Buscamos fomentar la diversidad de géneros, estilos y temáticas, así como brindar a los espectadores una experiencia enriquecedora a través del arte audiovisual.
Esta idea surge de la oportunidad que existe en Bragado de tener un centro cultural como lo es el Florencio Constantino, inspirada también en otros proyectos artísticos que ahí se desarrollan, como la Feria del Libro o la Semana del Teatro, por nombrar algunos.
Somos muchos los realizadores audiovisuales, algunos ya formados y otros en formación, oriundos de Bragado, y creemos que un festival de cine puede ser una plataforma para mostrar las producciones realizadas por bragadenses, así como acercar a la comunidad al mundo audiovisual.
Lo que nos proponemos en este primer festival de cine de Bragado es no solo mostrar producciones hechas en Bragado o por bragadenses sino también poder acercar a realizadores y público de distintos lugares de la provincia y el país que visiten y conozcan la ciudad. Si bien este primer festival no tendrá los condimentos de un festival como los de la competencia o entregas de premios a los mejores de cada categoría, servirá para que en la futuras ediciones pueda ser así.

The main goal is to promote and spread cinematographic culture in Bragado and its surroundings in the province, offering a display platform and recognition for local and international filmmakers. We want to encourage the diversity of genres, styles and themes as well as giving the spectators an enriching experience through audiovisual art. This idea originates from having a Cultural Center as is the Florencio Constantino, a long-standing theater which was renovated and where other artistic projects have been held, such as the Book Fair, the Theater Week, to name a few.
There are many of us audiovisual producers, some trained and some others still in training, who believe that a film festival can be a stage to showcase bragadian productions as well as bringing the community closer to the audiovisual world.
What we are proposing in this first film festival of Bragado is not only showing productions made in Bragado or by bragadians, but also inviting filmmakers and public from other parts of the country to participate and visiting our town.
While the first edition of the Festival will not have the contests or awards that a large festival would, it will lay a foundation for the years to come to make that happen.
