Fescilmar Festival - Session for the first time Spain

(1) It will take place from September 25 to September 27, 2026 and artists of any nationality may participate.

Our festival will be in person in agreement with Fescilmar Venezuela.

2) Fiction, documentary, video clips, webseries, experimental short films may participate, with a maximum duration of 45 minutes.

3) The works must have been completed after January 1, 2024.

5) Registration will be made only through FilmFreeway

6) Categories:

Short film Drama Short Comedy Experimental short film LGBT short film Fantasy short film Horror short film Documentary short film Short animated short film Web series for students – C

Selected participants will be announced on September 10, 2026.

7) The works will be selected by a pre-selection committee that will determine which short films will compete in the Official Short Film Section and which will compete.

8) The organization will agree on the date and order of exhibition of the films, committing to screen them only within the Festival.

9) The Official Jury, made up of professionals from the film industry, will be in charge of awarding the awards.

11) The decisions of both the selection committee and the Official Jury will be final. The prizes awarded will be presented at the closing gala

12) Registration implies acceptance of all the bases. – the registration fee will be 10 EUR

PROGRAMMING AND EXHIBITION RIGHTS

During the celebration of the contest, the organization reserves the right to exhibit the selected films in as many public sessions as it deems appropriate.
