FESCILMAR - International Short Film Festival, opens its session in POLAND with projection in Venezuela, Dissemination and promotion of Venezuelan, Latin American and global cinematography in two countries simultaneously; And its entire cultural realm. It tries to show cinematic works that entertain, but above all, that exert an educational influence on children, young people and the general population.

Paper submission deadline: April 12, 2024

(1) It shall take place from from April 26 to 28, 2024 and may participate in performers of any nationality.

Our festival will be in person in agreement with Fescilmar Venezuela.

2) Fiction short films, documentary, video clips, webseries, experimental, with a maximum duration of 45 minutes can participate in
any genre..

3) Work must have been completed after January 1
2021.

7) The works will be selected by a shortlist committee that will determine which rtometrajes attend the Official Short Film Section and which will compete.

8) The organization will agree on the date and order of exhibition of the films, buying to screen them only within the Festival.

9) The Official Jury, composed of professionals from the film medium, will be in charge of awarding the prizes.

11) Decisions of both the selection committee and the Official Jury shall be final. Prizes awarded will be presented at the closing gala

    A truly scary festival! I definitely wrote an email 10 times and wrote on Instagram and they did not answer me. We wanted to attend the festival ourselves and they didn't even send us an invitation. I think this was the scariest festival we've ever attended.
    Stay away from this festival.

    Aunque no pude asistir, quedé encantado con la sesión inaugural del Festival Fescilmar en Venezuela. Gracias al director del festival, Genaro, el evento presentó una diversa selección de películas, ofreciendo una cautivadora visión del cine venezolano e internacional. El formato virtual fue accesible y bien ejecutado, brindando una experiencia atractiva desde la comodidad del hogar. El liderazgo visionario de Genaro fue evidente, creando un espacio cultural que promete moldear el futuro del cine en Venezuela. Si hay algún festival de cine en América del Sur al que asistiría en persona, sin duda sería Fescilmar. Espero con interés el continuo éxito del festival.

    Though unable to attend, I was delighted by the inaugural session of Fescilmar Festival in Venezuela. Thanks to Festival Director Genaro, the event showcased a diverse array of films, offering a captivating glimpse into Venezuelan and international cinema. The virtual format was accessible and well-executed, providing an engaging experience from the comfort of home. Genaro's visionary leadership was evident, creating a cultural space that promises to shape the future of film in Venezuela. If there's any film festival in South America I'd attend in person, it's undoubtedly Fescilmar. Looking forward to the festival's continued success.
