The Feeln Festival is a 100% non-profit film, music, art, and culture festival that starts in Bahia, Brazil, closely connected with Africa. FEELn stands for FREEDOM EXPRESSION EQUALITY LIFE Network. The FEELn festival has one goal: to inspire, support, help, empower and educate young people and their families around the world, from 6 to 18 years old. Although the focus is on youth and children in need, there is no discrimination, our goal is to help all young people. The FEELn festival has several foundations and partner entities listed above that will help us achieve our goals, also the FEEln festival will work hand in hand with the State of Bahia and local communities.
The FEELn Film Festival is the first multicultural event of its kind located I the City of Salvador, State of Bahia, Brazil. We plan to screen dozens of films from a variety of countries. Our five-day event is to take place from December 5th to December 9th, 2023 and it will include several events, such as an opening ceremony, an award ceremony, as well as an opportunity for festival goers to experience concerts.
FEELn Film Festival will be located at the Parque de Exposicoes Agropecuarias de Salvador, built in 1978, the Park has 450,000 Sq. Mts. Of available area, with a maximum capacity of 100,000 people in a fair configuration.
We will have themed tents to screen the selections to the audience. Each tent has its own Wi-Fi network, so the sound can be broadcast to portable devices, thus minimizing noise pollution on the fairgrounds, while allowing for several films to be screened at the same time.

Winners: Winners will not only receive the traditional laurels and gongs in each category, but they will also receive cash and prizes totaling US$10,000 (this total amount in cash and prizes will be divided amongst all the winners).

Definitions:
Full Length: We define “Full length” entries as any content with a duration longer than 28 minutes
Pilot: We define a “Pilot” entry as any content with a duration of between 18 and 28 minutes.
Short film: We define “Short” film entry as any content with a duration shorter than 18 minutes in length.
Independent filmmakers: Those filmmakers submitting film projects that do not yet have distribution contracts.

Entry fees.
FEELn Film Festival charges entry fees, and they are as follows: US$10 for all entries - this is to cover our administration costs.

Refunds.
The FEELn Film Festival does not offer refunds. Once the submissions are accepted, the funds are considered used.

Waiver Policy.
The FEELn Film Festival does not have any fee waivers at this point.

Rules & regulations.
Originality: Feeln Film festival requires submissions to be original creations. We require submissions to not have had any official screenings in the City of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. We require entries to be made available for distribution offers. Additional release forms will be required for streaming and promotion.
Disclosures: Selected entries are eligible for distribution in our preferred pay-per-view channels via On Fine networks and Future.Networks.TV

Language: We entertain all submissions; however we reserve the right to refuse any entries with explicit language or that glorifies hate speech.
Creation: We accept films produced on or after January 1st, 2020.
Screening: Films that are not accepted are not screened at the festival.
Multiple submissions: Are accepted, provided each entry pays its own entry fee.

Attendance: Is discretionary – film makers are welcome to attend the film festival and a list of festival preferred accommodations will be made available; however, FEELn film festival does not pay for travel and other related expenses.
FEELn requires at least one member of the production (producer, director, actor) to be available for promotional purposes, and updates, which include screening information, prizes, etc.

Film / original work display: FEELn festival has permission to exhibit your film(s) during the festival and online during our online premiere. Submission of an entry (full-length, short film) implies FEELn Festival has permission to use images and clips to promote the work and the festival. FEELn gives credit to filmmakers every time their work is displayed. Furthermore, FEELn Film Festival operates as a content distributor and does not hold any copyrights; the original copyright holder shall retain copyrights to their original work.
