The Fargo Fantastic Film Festival exists to showcase the ambitious and creative independent filmmaker. To make a good “genre” film takes real creativity, craftsmanship and – yes, artistic merit. We show professional and amateur productions as both can learn from the other. The fest kicks off at the Fargo Theatre and then continues in conjunction with VALLEYCON, the premiere pop culture celebration in the region!

Awards & Prizes

Awards for best films in various genres, both short subject and feature. Also the Roger and Julie Corman Award for Intrepid Filmmaking.

Rules & Terms

Submit films via online submission ONLY, all films that are selected must supply a file for projection (to be converted to blu-ray for projection-DCP is NOT available except when requested by the fest due to limited movie theater projection)

    A wonderful festival. We were proud to have THE CREEPING screen at FFFF.

    Unfortunately we couldn't attend the festival itself but the communication was excellent and we were honoured to be part of the lineup.

    Man COVID SUCKS.

    We really wish we could have been at this festival. It looked like it was a great in-person experience.

    Hopefully, we will be back with the feature version of the film. Lovely to be told we won a prize!
