Fantasticon Film Fest is the cinematic soul of Milan Games Week & Cartoomics!

Fantasticon Film Fest will take place from November 21 to 24, 2024, at the Auditorium of Fiera Milano Rho.
It offers a true immersion into the Anime and Fantasy genres through quality film screenings and the presence of numerous guests and themed events.
The festival will feature film and TV series screenings, masterclasses, and panels with guests every day from 11:00 AM to approximately 10:00 PM.

A brand new addition to this second edition is the short film competition dedicated to the horror, thriller, fantasy, and action genres.

Fantasticon Film Fest è l’anima cinematografica di Milan Games Week & Cartoomics!

Fantasticon Film Fest si svolge dal 21 al 24 novembre 2024 presso l’Auditorium di Fiera Milano Rho.
Una vera e propria immersione nei generi Anime e Fantasy grazie a proiezioni di film di qualità e alla presenza di numerosi ospiti e incontri a tema.
Il festival ospiterà proiezioni di film, serie tv, masterclass e panel con ospiti tutti i giorni dalle 11:00 alle 22:00 circa.

Novità assoluta di questa seconda edizione è il concorso di cortometraggi dedicato ai generi horror, thriller, fantasy e action.

Awards & Prizes

The contest prize will consist of a custom sculpture, along with a dedicated press release for the winner and communication support from the entire Fantasticon Film Fest and Milan Gamesweek & Cartoomics.

Rules & Terms

Short films in the fantastic genres (horror, thriller, fantasy, and action) are eligible for the competition, regardless of language, style, or format; they can be made on any medium, with a maximum duration of 20 minutes, and must have been produced no earlier than 2023.

To be considered for the competition, entries must be submitted by October 27, 2024.

Sono ammessi al concorso cortometraggi di genere fantastico (horror, thriller, fantasy e action), in qualsiasi lingua, linguaggio e formato; realizzati su qualunque supporto, di una durata massima di 20 minuti e il cui anno di produzione non sia antecedente al 2023.

Per essere considerati in concorso, le iscrizioni dovranno essere sottoscritte entro il 27 ottobre 2024.

    My film was selected and screened during the festival. Never heard anything from the festival unfortunately, although I tried to contact them. Poor communication.

    Very nice communication but I would have liked to see informations on the website a little more, and also: which films are in competition, to be able to see them from an other country and also have informations on the day of screening, how many people come to this festival...
