Fang Fest 2026 is a spooky street faire-style community event celebrating Ohio filmmakers, the creative spirit of Columbus, as well as serving as the hometown premiere of What's Wrong Wendy!
At the heart of the event is a 1-hour Ohio Filmmakers Showcase, spotlighting short films from local creators across the state. This showcase is dedicated to giving Ohio filmmakers a platform to share their work, connect with new audiences, and celebrate the growing independent film scene right here at home.
Set against the historic backdrop of Green Lawn Cemetery, Fang Fest brings together film, food, vendors, music, and eerie seasonal fun for a one-of-a-kind evening in support of local art and community preservation.
Guests can explore local vendors, enjoy food and drinks, experience spooky street faire attractions, and support a night built around creativity, community, and the beautifully strange.
Proceeds from Fang Fest will benefit Green Lawn Cemetery, helping support one of Columbus’ most historic and beloved landmarks.
Please note: The Ohio Filmmakers Showcase is a curated, non-competitive screening block, not a traditional film festival. No prizes or awards will be given. This showcase is designed to celebrate Ohio filmmakers, share local work with the community, and highlight the creative talent happening right here in our state.
