FALVATERRA FILM FESTIVAL

What we are looking for: Short Films of any genres and languages, maximum length
15 minutes, credits included. You can submit films completed after January
the 1st 2022. Each film if not in English must have subtitles in English. The directors of the finalist films, if not in Italian language, must send us a copy with Italian subtitles for the public screening, under penalty of disqualification to our email address:

By registering to Falvaterra Film Festival, you declare that you have all the rights to
the registered film.

We do not accept:

1. Amateur videos. 2. Extremist or propaganda content from
religious or political organizations. 3. Pornography. 4. Film with a poor production
standard (bad sound, lack of subtitles/captions for non-Italian films, video resolution
lower than 1080p HD). 5. scripts. 6. excerpts/scenes from films: you must submit the
entire short film.

BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR PROJECT PLEASE READ ALL RULES AND
REGULATIONS.

By submitting your film, take note that: The Falvaterra Film Festival is hereby
granted the rights to utilize an excerpt (trailer/teaser/poster/stills) from any film
submitted for promotional purposes. The films will not be available online.
Multiple entries are allowed for each filmmaker and each entry may be submitted to multiple categories.

Entry fees are non-refundable.

IMPORTANT:

By registering you participate in the prizes for all categories.
The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized
to commit the film for possible screening (private and/or public) and understands and
accepts these requirements, rules and regulations.

The Best Short Films received will be selected by the Jury for the Screening Event. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the
Falvaterra Film Festival, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses,
damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the
court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark,
credits, publicity, screening, and loss or damage of the screening videos entered. By
submitting your film, you acknowledge you have read, understood and accepted all
rules and regulations.

Acceptance of the rules The admission to the Festival implies the unconditional acceptance of this regulation. For any dispute not covered by the Regulation the competent authority is the organization of the Falvaterra Film Festival, if such disputes do not find the solution, the competent authority is Foro di Roma.

PRIVACY

In case of objections to this Regulation Italian version of the same prevails.
Privacy Subscribers to the Falvaterra Film Festival agree as established by Legislative Decree DGPR 25 May 2018 and the next Legislative Decree 10 August 2018, n. 101 on the protection of privacy, the use of personal data for all initiatives related to the event. The Author of the film declares to accept the Regulation in all its parts and to have the legal availability of the film and to authorize the public screening without compensation, freeing the organization of the Festival from any present and future responsibility. With the contest entry each author is responsible for the content of his work. The author claims to own all rights to the work, not prejudicing in any way the rights of third parties, like other authors, subjects portrayed, transferees of rights, together with those music, etc. It also declares that the audiovisual material is not protected by SIAE. Under the provisions of Legislative Decree. 30/06/2003 n. 196, we inform the author that the data
requested is necessary for completing the documentation of registration to the Festival.

PRIMA DI INVIARE IL PROGETTO LEGGERE TUTTE LE NORME E
REGOLAMENTI.

Cosa stiamo cercando: Cortometraggi di qualsiasi genere e lingua, con una
lunghezza fino a 15 minuti titoli di coda inclusi. Potete iscrivere cortometraggi
completati dal 1°gennaio 2022.

Ogni film deve avere i sottotitoli in inglese. Se i film finalisti sono in lingua straniera, gli autori devono inviarci una copia con i sottotitoli in italiano presso l’indirizzo email: falvaterrafilmfestival@gmail.com per essere proiettati al pubblico pena la squalifica.

Sottoscrivendo il vostro film al Falvaterra Film Festival, dichiarate di averne tutti i diritti.

IMPORTANTE:

Con l'iscrizione si partecipa ai premi per tutte le categorie.
Non accettiamo:
1. Video amatoriali. 2. Contenuti estremisti o propagandistici di
organizzazioni religiose o politiche. 3. Pornografia. 4. Film con uno standard di
produzione scadente (audio scadente, mancanza di sottotitoli / didascalie per film non
italiani, risoluzione video inferiore a 1080p HD). 5. Non accettiamo sceneggiatura. 6.
Non si accettano estratti / scene di film: è necessario inviare l'intero film.

Inviando il tuo film, prendi nota che: Al Falvaterra Film Festival vengono concessi i
diritti di utilizzare un estratto (trailer / teaser / poster / immagini fisse) di ogni film
presentato per scopi promozionali. I film non saranno disponibili online. Ogni regista
può iscrivere più film che possono concorrere a più categorie. Le quote di iscrizione
non sono rimborsabili.

La persona fisica o giuridica che presenta il film garantisce di essere autorizzata a
concedere il film per una eventuale proiezione (privata e/o pubblica) e dichiara di
aver compreso e accettato tutti i requisiti, norme e regolamenti.
Solo i migliori cortometraggi pervenuti saranno selezionati dalla Giuria per la proiezione pubblica. Accetti di sollevare da ogni
responsabilità il Falvaterra Film Festival, da e contro qualsiasi pretesa, perdita,
danno e spesa (inclusi ma non limitate alle parcelle degli avvocati e ai costi del
tribunale) che dovessero essere sostenute per qualsiasi ragione in seguito a dei
reclami riguardanti copyright, marchi, riconoscimenti, pubblicità, proiezione e perdita
o danneggiamento dei video in proiezione inseriti. Inviando il tuo film, dichiari di
aver letto, compreso e accettato tutte le norme e i regolamenti.

PRIVACY

L'Autore del film dichiara, iscrivendosi al Falvaterra Film Festival di accettare il
trattamento dei dati personali, come stabilito dalla Comunità Europea ai sensi del
GDPR 25 maggio 2018, e successivo Decreto legislativo italiano 10 agosto 2018, n.
101 sulla tutela della privacy, per tutte le iniziative legate alla manifestazione.

Dichiara di accettare il Regolamento in tutte le sue parti e di detenere i diritti legali
del film la legale e di autorizzarne la proiezione pubblica senza compenso, liberando
l'organizzazione del Festival da ogni responsabilità presente e futura. Con l'iscrizione
al concorso ogni autore è responsabile del contenuto della propria opera. L'autore
dichiara di possedere tutti i diritti dell'opera, non pregiudicando in alcun modo i diritti
di terzi, come gli sceneggiatori, attori, cessionari di diritti e musicali.

Dichiara inoltre che il materiale audiovisivo non è protetto dai diritti SIAE. In base alle disposizioni del D.lgs. 30/06/2003 n. 196 e successive integrazioni si informa l'autore che i dati richiesti sono necessari per completare la documentazione di iscrizione al Festival.
