FACE Film is an international touring film festival, developed by the Young Creative Leaders as a vehicle for directors and filmmakers to reach new markets, a Festival that focuses on questioning real world issues, through amazing films from across the world. Through 2020 FACE Film will be screening in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Mauritania, Portugal, Tanzania and more.

This year we’re looking for films that discuss issues of Climate Change, Identity, Mental Health, Science & the Media, and Xenophobia.

Applications all year round, we consider narrative, documentary and animated films, in both feature length and short formats, from all genres and countries, as long as they discuss and/or show the issues mentioned above.

All films selected to be shown as part of FACE Film are considered for the awards below. Awards will be presented on the 5th December at the Young Creative Leaders’ Awards Ceremony in Manchester, United Kingdom.

Eligibility:
1. All films must be in English or - if they are in a different language - subtitled in English.
2. All films will be considered: under 45 minutes is considered a short film, 45+ minutes is considered a feature film.
3. Films must show and/or discuss one or more of the following issues to be considered: Climate Change, Identity, Mental Health, Science and the Media, Xenophobia.
4. We do not have a premiere policy.
