This call for work is for the end of year exhibit entitled "the FUSE: the 2026 Barrett Faculty, the 39th annual Juried Undergraduate Exhibit and Spotlight on the 'Graduating Seniors' Exhibition."

The Motion Image Awards recognize the best short films and animations created at Webster over the past four semesters. Current Undergrads and recent Alums are eligible to submit (both are considered students and there is no charge to submit).

The FUSE Awards: the Still Image and Moving Image (Film/Video and Animation) awards with a screening of the award-winning student works.

A celebration of our creative community, the exhibition opening reception will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 5pm-8pm. The May 8 opening celebration will 'toast the Senior Exhibitors' and culminate in the FUSE Awards: the Still Image and Moving Image (Film/Video and Animation) awards with a screening of the award-winning student works.

*Up to 15 min Run time
*Original written works only, no adaptations.
*Maximum 2 submissions per student
*This Award recognizes the best short films and animations created at Webster over the past four semesters. Thus, Current Undergrads and recent Alums are eligible to submit work from the past 4 semesters.
*Files must be named:
LastName_FirstName_Projectname.mov
*Please, acknowledge/credit all Webster students involved in your film or animations credits.
