- INTRODUCTION -
The Fugitif Short Film Festival is an international competitive short film festival. Through a rigorous selection process, the event aims to deliver a high-quality artistic and cultural experience. Since 2021, the festival has been hosted at the renowned Cinéma Utopia, located in the heart of Avignon.
The festival explores three captivating themes: The Nigh, LGBTQIA+ and student film. It celebrates the diversity of cinema by showcasing a wide range of genres, including fiction, live action, animation, documentary, experimental works, and more.

- PUBLIC SCREENINGS -
The event takes place at the Utopia cinema in the centre of Avignon. It will provide a unique opportunity for filmmakers and film school students to meet, exchange ideas and participate in the cultural weaving of the audiovisual sector.
A jury of professional artists will be present at the screening to determine the winner of the Fugitif Award.

- THEME #1 THE NIGHT: The theme THE NIGHT can be approached literally and/or metaphorically. It can be a detail or a main element of the film.
- THEME #2 LGBTQIA+: The LGBTQIA+ theme is an opportunity to discover and highlight the great variety, abundance and exceptional creativity of LGBTQIA+ cinema.
- THEME #3 STUDENT FILMS: The STUDENT FILMS theme showcases the diversity and creativity of film students and helps us discover the talents of tomorrow.

In the case of cancellation or disqualification for failure to comply with the imposed regulations, entry fees are non-refundable.
