O FIDA - Festival Internacional de Dança, Vídeo & Tecnologia da Unicamp é um evento organizado pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas – UNICAMP, sob direção do Prof. Dr. Diogo Angeli, docente da Universidade. Criado em 2024, o festival tem como principal objetivo promover espaços de discussão, reflexão, formação e circulação artística, onde seus participantes possam trocar experiencias práticas e teóricas sobre o campo da dança mediada pela tecnologia.
Dentre atividades de formação e pesquisa, o evento conta com uma mostra de videodança organizada em conjunto com os alunos do curso de graduação em dança da Universidade e vinculada à disciplina AD027 - Ateliê de Criação Dança e Novas Tecnologias. A mostra busca promover e integrar atividades extensionistas à universidade, ou seja, promover atividades que aproximam a universidade das comunidades externas, proporcionando maior descentralização dos saberes produzidos.
O festival promoverá a exibição de duas mostras de videodanças. Assim, a inscrição no festival pode ser feita em duas categorias:
Como “Mostra Universitária” – compreende os filmes produzidos por estudantes do curso de dança da UNICAMP, mas também está aberta à participação de trabalhos de outros estudantes desde que seus filmes estejam vinculados a universidades.
Como “Mostra Oficial” - que contempla filmes profissionais em videodança de artistas brasileiros e internacionais.
Valoriza-se trabalhos artísticos que explorem o hibridismo entre dança, cinema, audiovisual e tecnologia, bem como narrativas relacionadas com os contextos sociais e políticos presentes em nossa realidade.
O evento ocorrerá na terceira semana de junho de 2024, de 17/06 a 21/06, com duas exibições presenciais na cidade de Campinas, sendo uma na Unicamp e outra na região central da cidade. Além disso, os filmes ficarão disponíveis online para visualização no site do festival por um determinado período.

FIDA - Unicamp International Festival of Dance, Video & Technology is an event organized by Universidade Estadual de campinas – UNICAMP, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Diogo Angeli, professor at the University. Created in 2024, the festival's main objective is to promote spaces for discussion, reflection, training and artistic circulation, where its participants can exchange practical and theoretical experiences in the field of technology-mediated dance.
Among training and research activities, the event has a screendance exhibition organized together with the students of the undergraduate dance course at the University and linked to the discipline AD027 - Dance Creation and New Technologies Atelier. The exhibition seeks to promote and integrate extension activities to the university, that is, to promote activities that bring the university closer to external communities, providing greater decentralization of the knowledge produced.
The festival will promote two screendance exhibitions. Thus, the registration in the festival can be done in two categories:
As a "Student Screening" – comprises screendances produced by students of the dance course at UNICAMP, but it is also open to the participation of screendances by other students if their works are linked to universities.
As "Official Screening " - which includes professional works in screendance by Brazilian and international artists.
Artistic works that explore the hybridity between dance, cinema, audiovisual and technology are valued, as well as narratives related to the social and political contexts present in our reality.
The event will take place in the third week of June 2024, from 06/17 to 06/21, with two face-to-face exhibitions in the city of Campinas, one at Unicamp and the other in the central region of the city. In addition, the films will be available online for viewing on the festival's website for a certain period.

Rules & Terms

- Na categoria Mostra Universitária somente podem participar estudantes regularmente matriculados, cujos trabalhos tenham vínculo com sua universidade.
- O limite máximo de tempo do filme é de 10 minutos.
- Cada artista ou grupo pode se inscrever com apenas 1 filme na Mostra Universitária e com 2 filmes na Mostra Oficial.
- O ano de produção do filme deve ser 2022 ou posterior.
- O autor deve possuir todos os direitos autorais de sua obra, incluindo diretos de imagem, trilha sonora, dentre outros.
- Ao participar do festival, o autor ou grupo concorda em ceder os direitos de exibição do seu filme selecionado para a mostra presencial e nos veículos online de exibição. Também concorda em ceder o direito de uso de imagens para o material de divulgação do evento (trailers, redes sociais, press release, dentre outros).
- Os filmes selecionados serão apresentados em exibições públicas. Pela exibição o Festival FIDA não pagará nenhuma remuneração.
- A participação no evento FIDA é gratuita.
- Se selecionado, o autor deve enviar o link para download do filme e três fotos para divulgação em alta qualidade e 300 dpi para o email do festival: fida@unicamp.br.

- In the “Student Screening” category, only regularly enrolled students, whose works are linked to their university, can participate.
- The maximum time limit for the film is 10 minutes.
- Each artist or group can submit with only 1 film in the “Student Screening “and with 2 films in the “Official Screening”.
- The film's production year must be 2022 or later.
- The author must own all copyrights of his/her film, including image rights, soundtrack, among others.
- By participating in the festival, the author or group agrees to assign the rights to screen their selected film for the face-to-face screening and in the online screening vehicles. You also agree to assign the right to use images for the event's promotional material (trailers, social networks, press releases, among others).
- The selected films will be presented at public screenings. The FIDA Festival will not pay any remuneration for the screening.
- Participation in the FIDA event is free of charge.
- If selected, the author must send the link to download the film and three photos for dissemination in high quality and 300 dpi to the festival's email: fida@unicamp.br.
