Ezinne Akam is a Nigerian writer and producer with 7 years of experience crafting authentic stories that explore social issues, African mythology, and human behavior. With a BSc in Criminology, she brings a unique lens to storytelling, examining the systems and circumstances that shape people's lives.
She is passionate about telling stories that address social issues focusing on women and children rights. As a producer, she has worked on Prime Video projects (Breath of Life, Soft Love, A Perfect Arrangement), the Netflix series Shanty Town, and the Africa Magic Original series Slum King. She also independently produced Silenced and the award-winning short film Blind Date.
Ezinne has managed productions for films and TV commercials with teams of over 500 people and is known for her result-driven leadership style and creative problem-solving. She has spent the past year writing her first literary book and is currently working on her first Afro-fantasy feature film.
