Euregion Film Forum offers you a multiday event for talent development and professionals networking featuring the best films from the Euregion, masterclasses, film pitch, cinetalks and much more.

Euregion Film Forum aims to connect filmmakers and the public in an international context, in the heart of the crossborder region of the Netherlands: the province of Limburg. Surrounded by Belgium and Germany, this area is the perfect spot for international cinematic collaborations.

Take this opportunity to discover and learn from international and local makers. Broaden your horizons, and master the many intricacies of the filmmaking crafts, through our industry days, hosted by accomplished makers keen on sharing their knowledge, and willing to give the keys needed to apprehend all aspects of filmmaking.

Rules & Terms

1. Films must be completed after 1 January, 2025.
2. The maximum running time is 20 minutes (including credits).
3. Films in every genre can be submitted (e.d. fiction, documentary, animation, experimental and more).
4. The film must be made/produced (geographical) in the Euregion Meuse-Rhine* and/or its director, writer or producer is from the Euregion Meuse-Rhine.
5. All films must have legible English subtitles.
6. Submissions only via FilmFreeway.com, with online screeners.
7. For promotional purposes, the festival makes use of stills and footages (up to 30 seconds, taken from the film or trailer). By submitting your project, you consent to the promotional use of such material.

    Me and my co-director were elated to have our short be selected for this wonderful festival. Winning the prize for best short was the cherry on the cake. Of all the festivals we've been too, this one was definitely the most filmmaker-friendly. The organisation and communication was great, the interaction with the audience was motivating and the opportunities to network were a plenty. Thanks for a warm reception to the whole Euregion team. We hope to be back in the future!
