The 2026 Errand of Angels Films (EoAF) Film Festival theme "Uplift & Inspire" celebrates young and emerging filmmakers who use creativity to encourage, uplift, and inspire others through the art of storytelling.

For this Festival professional equipment is not required. Films may be created using phones, tablets, cameras, or other recording devices. Storytelling, creativity, and inspiration matter more than expensive equipment.

This festival is broken down into 2 groups:

Youth Division
Ages 18 and under at the time of submission, with parental/guardian's consent.

Emerging Filmmaker Division
Open to first-time and newer filmmakers ages 18 or older at the time of submission.

Selected films for this festival will be featured at Samantha's Li'l Bit of Heaven in Long island, New York, on Sept 14th, 2026 and the winners will be announced during this event. A replay of the even will post online the following day.

Original Works
Entrants must own or have permission to use all music, footage, images, and other copyrighted materials.

SPECS
Length
Maximum runtime: 60 seconds
Credits must be included within the 60-second limit.

Content
Films must be:
Family-friendly
Appropriate for all audiences
Free of profanity, sexual content, excessive violence, and taking the name of God in vain.

Format
MP4 or .mov preferred
Minimum 1080p resolution recommended
Horizontal format only

Each submission must:
1. FilmFreeway Submission
Submit through www.FilmFreeway.com and fill out the parental consent, form if under 18

2. YouTube Upload
Upload your film on YouTube as Unlisted (not Public or Private)

3. Email Your Submission

Film title
Filmmaker's name(s) [writer(s), director(s), editor(s), camera operator(s), producer(s), musical composer(s), and any other crew involved]
Actor(s) & musical performer(s) names and roles

*NOTE: If a submission includes filmmakers both under 18 and 18+, then the film will automatically be entered into the Emerging Filmmakers Division. If a submission contains filmmakers under 18, but includes actors 18+, then only the actors ages 18+ will be considered in the Emerging Filmmakers Division, but the other aspects of filming will be considered under the Youth Division for selection, nominations, and awards.
