Eric Lotter is an award-winning, Plymouth-based screenwriter specializing in high-concept sci-fi, horror, and psychological thrillers. Bringing a unique perspective to his storytelling, Eric leverages a twenty-year career as a technology leader and systems engineer to ground his high-concept world-building with strict internal logic and tactile, realistic detail.

His portfolio of connected scripts, internally dubbed the "Lotterverse," has earned significant industry recognition. Most recently, his sci-fi/fantasy thriller Monitor was selected as a Top 5 Category Finalist in the Spring 2026 ISA Fast Track Fellowship and named Best Screenplay in the Wiki Screenplay Contest.

His psychological thriller Frozen Lies took home 3rd place at the prestigious Slamdance Screenwriting Competition and won Outstanding Achievement for Unproduced Feature Length Screenplay at the Massachusetts Independent Film Festival.
