The EPIC LENS FILM FESTIVAL recognizes the best categories giving them high-quality certificates with laurel wreaths on it, extensive social media press coverage, and an IMDb pages to showcase the awards and selections received.

General Rules and Terms

1. Eligibility:
Films must have been completed after 2023.
Films that have been publicly broadcast or commercially released prior to the festival dates may be ineligible.

2. Submission Categories:
Ultra Short Films
Short Films
Feature Films

3. Submission Process:
All entries must be submitted through Film Freeway by the specified deadline.
A completed entry form and payment of the entry fee must accompany each submission.
Submission fees are non-refundable.

4. Formats:
Films must be submitted in the required format (e.g., digital file, dcp)
Selected films must be available in 1920 by 1080p for festival presentation.

5. Language:
Films not in English must have English subtitles.

6. Selection:
All submissions will be reviewed by a selection committee.
The festival organizers will notify filmmakers of their selection status by May 30,2025
The decision of the selection committee is final.

7. Screenings:
Selected films will be scheduled for public screenings during the festival.
Screening times and venues will be determined by the festival organizers.

8. Rights and Permissions:
Filmmakers must have the rights to all content in their films, including music, images, and footage.By submitting a film, filmmakers grant the festival the right to screen the film and use excerpts for promotional purposes.

9. Awards and Prizes:
Awards will be given in various categories as determined by the festival.
Prizes may include cash awards, trophies, certificates, or other forms of recognition.

10. Attendance:
Filmmakers of selected films are encouraged to attend the festival and participate in Q&A sessions and panels.Travel and accommodation expenses are generally the responsibility of the filmmakers unless otherwise specified by the festival.
