Elif Koyutürk Hazen is an award-winning director and cinematographer whose work explores the intersection of identity, migration, and the connection between humans and nature. Born in Istanbul, now based in Bend, Oregon, her films are a fusion of intimate storytelling and cinematic poetry. As an immigrant, Elif’s films reflect her journey to understand belonging beyond borders, inviting audiences to experience the emotional landscapes of migration and personal identity. Her projects have earned international recognition for their visual depth and cultural sensitivity.
