Awards & Prizes

1. Three Juried selections which best embody the EUFF ethos and mandate will be deposited into the FILM MAKERS CO-OPERATIVE Film Bank for distribution for 1 year on the filmmakers behalf.

2. One local Edmonton Filmmaker will receive The Audience Appreciation Award and will receive a $250 cash award and a guaranteed festival spot for new work in EUFF.04
3. Each film selected for EUFF.03 will be given a dedicated social media campaign with a guaranteed reach of 15,000 accounts over 10 days. (Programs I & II)

Rules & Terms

1. Films must be made after 2023 and be less than 15 minutes in length.
2. All visuals and sound must be original or notated and referenced to online free sound or public domain sites.
3. Films/ Videos should not be in current Distribution with a 3rd Party.
4. By submitting your project, you have given EUFF the right and permission to screen, highlight, promote and/ or showcase your project on social media platforms and marketing materials.

    I was regrettably unable to attend the screening this year, but was overjoyed that my micro-short CRATER DAYS made its world premiere at such an exciting festival. Great communication, stellar marketing, and a wonderful venue added up to what (I'm sure) was a hell of a day spotlighting local, Canadian, and international experimental cinema. Something we definitely need more of! So thank you EUFF organizers, filmmakers, and patrons. Long live the explorers, and those who follow them into the haze.
