The International Eco Film Festival by CHYSTO.DE?!, held on August 14-16 in Slavsko, is the first festival of its kind in Ukraine, where, over three days, film lovers, filmmakers, industry professionals, ecologists, environmentalists, and the media come together around the best new ecological cinema.
Films, long recognized as an effective tool for raising awareness about the environment, have become for us a powerful platform for expressing care for nature, where ideas for solving crucial issues of our time could be born. Here, we create a space for deep educational reflection and honest dialogue, where audiovisual art, in all its genres and formats, is the heart and driving force of change. The festival showcases films (favoring premieres) that stand out for their relevance, high quality, and creative approach.
We are accepting submissions focused on themes of wildlife conservation, biodiversity, unique natural landscapes, human impact on the environment, conscious consumption, and responsible recreation. The goal is to showcase the beauty and vulnerability of nature and raise awareness of the collective responsibility we bear for its preservation.
Filmmakers from any part of the world are welcome to participate, except for those from the aggressor country and its citizens (due to the war started by russia against Ukraine in 2014 and the full-scale invasion launched on February 24, 2022, against the peaceful people of Ukraine, the ban also applies to countries directly supporting russia's barbaric actions: belarus, iran).
Our festival is an unprecedented platform for professional growth and the exchange of experiences between filmmakers, eco-activists, and viewers, who simultaneously nurture their love for cinema and the natural world. The International Eco Film Festival by CHYSTO.DE?! seeks to inspire change by opening a space for deep reflection and sincere conversations about ways to make our life on this planet more harmonious, sustainable, and filled with love for nature.

International Eco Film Festival by CHYSTO.DE?!, який проводиться 14-16 серпня у c. Славсько – це перший кінофестиваль такого роду в Україні, де протягом трьох днів кінолюбителі, кінематографісти, професіонали кіноіндустрії, екологи, природоохоронці та медіа об'єднуються навколо найкращих новинок екологічного кіно.
Фільми, які завжди були ефективним інструментом інформування та підвищення обізнаності про довкілля, стали для нас потужним майданчиком висловлення турботи про природу, де народжуються ідеї для вирішення життєво важливих питань нашого часу. Тут створюється простір для глибокої освітньої рефлексії та чесного діалогу, де аудіовізуальне мистецтво – у всьому розмаїтті жанрів і форматів – є серцем і рушієм змін. У програму фестивалю потрапляють фільми, що вирізняються актуальністю теми, високою якістю та творчим підходом. Перевага надається прем'єрним показам.
Очікуємо на заявки, що зосереджені на темі збереження дикої природи, біорізноманіття, унікальних природніх ландшафтів, впливі людини на довкілля, свідомому споживанню, відповідального відпочинку. Ціль – продемонструвати красу і вразливість природи та підвищити обізнаність про колективну відповідальність, яку ми несемо за її збереження.
У конкурсі можуть брати участь кінематографісти з будь-якої точки світу, окрім країни-агресора та її громадян (у зв'язку з війною, розпочатою росією проти України в 2014-му та повномасштабним вторгненням, розпочатим 24 лютого 2022 року проти мирного народу України, заборона діє і на країни, що безпосередньо підтримують варварські дії росії: білорусь, іран).
Наш фестиваль є безпрецедентною платформою для професійного зростання й обміну досвідом між кінематографістами, екоактивістами та глядачами, які одночасно плекають в собі любов до кіно і до навколишнього світу. Join the International Eco Film Festival by CHYSTO.DE?! and give your film the chance to touch the hearts of viewers. In every frame, there is the power of nature, and in every scene, a call for change. Let your film be the voice that inspires the preservation of our nature.
The submission period for the Eco Film Festival by CHYSTO.DE?! 2025 opens on May 14, 2026. All applications must be submitted via FilmFreeway (https://filmfreeway.com). To submit, you must create your film project independently, hold the rights to the film, or have permission from the content owner to submit the film.
The film must have been produced after January 1, 2020, and be related to ECOLOGY topics. Applications should focus on themes such as wildlife conservation, biodiversity, unique natural landscapes, human impact on the environment, conscious consumption, responsible leisure, etc.
All foreign-language films must have English subtitles.
Eco Film Festival by CHYSTO.DE?! accepts films in the following categories:
• Feature-length documentaries (40 minutes or more)
• Short documentaries (up to 40 minutes)
Required information for managing your submission:
• Link to view your film (on FilmFreeway or other hosting platforms)
• Official information: title, film director(s), year and country of production, runtime in minutes, language
• Communication information: synopsis in Ukrainian or English (max 600 characters), film poster (120x160 cm), high-quality photos from the film, teaser.
All submissions must be received by 11:59 PM (GMT+8), June 15, 2026. Incomplete submissions or submissions received after the deadline will not be considered by the jury. After July 1, 2026, cancellations or withdrawals of submissions will not be accepted.
Submitters grant the organizer the right to use all submitted materials, including films, trailers, photos, and related content, for free. The organizer may download, reproduce, modify, and edit graphic and audio materials from selected films for use in promotional and marketing activities related to the festival, as well as for public screenings, performances, and displays. The usage duration is one year.

Прийом заявок на участь в Eco Film Festival by CHYSTO.DE?! 2025 року розпочинається 14 травня 2026 року. Усі заявки на участь у Фестивалі мають бути подані через FilmFreeway (https://filmfreeway.com). Щоб податись, ви повинні створити кінопроект самостійно, володіти правами або мати дозвіл від власника контенту на подачу фільму.
Фільм повинен бути реалізований після 1 січня 2020 року і бути пов'язаний з ЕКОЛОГІЄЮ. Заявки повинні бути зосереджені на тематиках збереження дикої природи, біорізноманіття, унікальних природніх ландшафтів, впливі людини на довкілля, свідомому споживанню, відповідальному відпочинку тощо.
Всі фільми повинні мати англійські субтитри.

Повнометражні документальні фільми тривалістю від 40 хвилин
Короткометражні документальні фільми тривалістю до 40 хвилин
Інформація, необхідна для управління вашою заявкою:
Посилання для перегляду вашого фільму (на FilmFreeway або на інших хостингових платформах)
Офіційна інформація: назва, ім'я режисера(ів), рік та країна виробництва, тривалість у хвилинах, мова фільму.
Комунікаційна інформація: синопсис українською або англійською мовами (максимум 600 символів), постер фільму (120х160 см), фотографії з фільму у високій якості, тизер.
Усі заявки мають бути отримані до 23:59 (GMT+8), 15 червня 2026 року. Неповні заявки або заявки, отримані після дедлайну, не будуть допущені до розгляду журі. Опісля, 1 липня 2026 року, скасування або відкликання заявок не приймаються.
Заявники надають організатору право на безоплатне використання всіх поданих матеріалів, зокрема фільмів, трейлерів, фотографій та пов'язаного з фільмами контенту, а також погоджуються з тим, що організатор може завантажувати, відтворювати, переробляти та редагувати графічні та аудіоматеріали відібраних фільмів для використання в промоційних та рекламних заходах, пов'язаних з фестивалем, а також для публічного показу, публічних виступів та публічних розповідей. Тривалість використання – протягом одного року.
