The Eagle Wings Student Christian Film Festival exists to facilitate community, learning, and encouragement among student filmmakers seeking to glorify God in their craft.

Keynote Speaker: Actress Emily Rose from the SyFy hit Haven.
Emily Rose is an actor best known for her work in television, film, and video games. After graduating from UCLA’s prestigious MFA Acting program, she quickly began her career playing Elena Fisher in Sony’s hit PlayStation series Uncharted, earning two Video Game Award nominations for Best Performance. She has since continued her work in gaming, including her role in God of War Ragnarök.
Emily is widely recognized for starring as Audrey Parker in Syfy’s hit series Haven, based on The Colorado Kid by Stephen King. Her performance as a sharp and determined FBI agent navigating a mysterious town earned her a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Dramatic Actress.
Her television work includes series roles in Graceland, ER, Brothers & Sisters, Jericho, and HBO’s John from Cincinnati. She has also guest-starred in Private Practice, Two and a Half Men, Without a Trace, Cold Case, CSI, & Gotham Knights.
In film, Emily has appeared in Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff alongside Heather Locklear, The Shift from Angel Studios and more recently lead a Christmas movie called All Is Merry and Bright. She will next be seen in the upcoming film The Other Side of the Window.
Emily earned her undergraduate degree in Theatrical Arts from Vanguard University of Southern California and studied Shakespeare in Oxford, England at the British American Drama Academy before completing her MFA at UCLA. While there, she worked with ArtsBridge America to support arts education in public schools and later returned to teach in UCLA’s Acting for Film & Television program.
She is passionate about lifelong learning, and encouraging the next generation of faith filled artists to pursue their creator and creative paths.
The Eagle Wings Student Christian Film Festival will award prizes in the following categories: Short Films, Screenplays, Music Video, and Commercials/PSA (Public Service Announcements).
