1. The 9th edition of the ENMUT Internantional Film Festival will take place in Barcelona at the Malda Cinema from October 25th 2024.

2. The theme of the work submitted is free.

3. Short films in competition must not exceed 30 minutes of duration.

4. The participants can formalize their registration and send their short films online through Filmfreeway (www.filmfreeway.com) or through any other registration and delivery mechanisms that the organization of the festival may provide. Any shipping costs will be at participants account.

5. Submitted films can be shot in any format. Nevertheless, in order to ensure the highest quality projection of the film, the organization might request a copy in a specific format from the participants.

6. In the event that the submitted short film partially or completely contained a non-original soundtrack, the participant shall explicitly state it in the registration process making aware the organization of this circumstance.

7. Video files will be kept by the organization, who reserves the right to use them for the promotion of the present or future editions of the festival.

8. The organization of the Festival ENMUT agrees not to use nor to broadcast the images of the participating works except for any activities directly related to the festival, unless under the specific consent of the author, who will retain intellectual property and authorship rights of the work.

9. All works submitted to the contest must be an original work of authorship and must have been completed after the 1st January 2022.

10. Participants must ensure that their work´s content do not infringe intellectual property rights or other third party rights and exempts the organization of legal liability.

11. Candidate works must be submitted by August 2024 at the latest, although the deadline might be extended at the organization's discretion.

12. The organization of ENMUT will draw up among the received works, the short films that will get into competition. Its decision will be final. The shortlist of the selected films will be announced through the different media available to the festival.

13. The selected pieces into competition will be screened publicly during the festival, being understood that the authors or producers authorize the projection.

14. The jury's decision will be announced during the closing ceremony of the festival, and it will be final. In case it be so deemed, the jury might declare void certain awards or grant honourable mentions.

15. Provided personal data for the competition will not be used for commercial purposes. It will be added to the organization files and will be used exclusively for activities related to the festival (promotional, communication, competition control, etc). In case of any doubt about its compliance, the organization reserves the right to request any necessary documentation to verify the terms laid down in these rules.

16. The participation in this competition implies the acceptance of these rules. Any work not meeting all requirements might be rejected.

17. The organization reserves the right to resolve any incident or contingency not covered by these rules.
