The East LA Film Festival (ELAFF) turns 15 years old. It's gonna be a Quinceañera party!!!
ELAFF's 15th Annual Film Festival in collaboration with Casa Cultural Saybrook Park, The Wall de Las Memorias, Eastmont Community Center, From Gangs to Glory Opportunity Foundation, Ortega Bros., and The Panamanian International Film Festival/LA. A new collaborative initiative of combined resources talent, and films from around the world while keeping it real "From The Hood To Hollywood."

ELAFF is presenting the Homie Award to some talented storytellers. We also have prices for the best Day of the Dead Costume.

There no rules, just good films.

Overall Rating
  • This is an excellent event created to celebrate and elevate the filmmaker community in LA. Aside from having our short film, BUST, screened, we saw inspiring works of independent artists.
I would like to thank the organizers for such a welcoming festival and highly recommend ELAFF to showcase your work.

I am very proud to have screened at ELAFF with my short film Kid Ugly. Its a beautiful festival full of activities and local vendors. It's for the people made BY the people. Theres a lack of latino festivals L.A. that uplift local talent but ELAFF really brought the community together. By far, one of my favorite fests I've screened at.

It was very special to screen our film about Iran in our own community of Los Angeles. Thanks to The East Los Angeles Film Festival for hosting us and supporting our efforts to make meaningful movies.
