E. Amato’s (she/her) pilot script Majority Rules is a Unique Voices Genre Winner, semifinalist for The Writers Lab NYC, and shortlisted for Amazon Studios’ WriterSlam. She is the editor of Judith Weston’s 25th Anniversary Edition of Directing Actors. Her poetry is part of Tia Chucha Press’ The Coiled Serpent, Voices from Leimert Park Reduxy and 1001 Night anthologies. She has published three poetry collections and written for The Body Is Not an Apology. She founded and curates the Down Home performance series, which received five stars in two consecutive years at the Fringe Festival, Edinburgh and has been resident in in Los Angeles, London and Berlin.
