WELCOME to NRFF Dreamers of Dreams. As we embark on a new era of technological and scientific discovery, this festival will spark your imagination and inspire you to think beyond the limitations of everyday life. We are inviting filmmakers to submit shorts and features with a SCIENCE FICTION, FANTASY, EXPERIMENTAL, SPIRITUAL/PHILOSOPHICAL or a ART/MUSIC theme. This can be a narrative story, a documentary, a dance or music video or, an animation. The festival will take place in London, UK, in May 2027

Dreamers of Dreams is organised by the successful New Renaissance Film Festival (NRFF) ranked in the top 100 best-reviewed film festivals on FilmFreeway. NRFF has screened world and UK premieres and films that went on to win an Oscar!

OUR CURATION: ARTISTICALLY-DRIVEN FILMS, INSPIRING STORIES

Film is a unique medium, and NRFF’s mission is to support and champion inspiring, independent artists and storytellers. This includes experimental work, emotional drama, music, dance and emerging talent.

Our festival is built around ARTISTS and their STORIES. By doing so, we aim to establish an international COMMUNITY of inspiring storytellers. We are not interested in following current fashions or being politically divisive. We seek out stories that are genuinely imaginative, emotional and life-affirming. At the heart of what we do is our passion to tell great stories.

PUSH THE BOUNDARIES OF REALITY

During the festival we hope to screen a wide variety of stories that celebrate and reflect on the human condition, human invention and imagination, and our desire to explore new and uncharted territory.

A DIVERSE AND INCLUSE PROGRAMME

NRFF London embeds diversity and inclusion within its selection and programming process. Each year, we curate a programme that reflects a wide range of cultural backgrounds, lived experiences, identities and creative approaches, and ensure this breadth is visible not only in our screenings but also in our awards. We regularly review our selection and jury processes to ensure fairness, consistency and inclusivity across all categories.

Rules & Terms

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
(1) Dreamers of Dreams Film Festival is hereby granted the right to utilise an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes. The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorised to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.
(2) All entries should be in English or with English subtitles.
(3) The judges reserve the right not to enter into any correspondence after the announcement of the winner.
(4) The applicant shall indemnify and hold harmless Dreamers of Dreams Film Festival from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
(5) The judges reserve the right not to enter into any correspondence after the announcement of the winner.
(6) If an award winner or their representative is not in attendance at the awards ceremony, the festival will not ship out trophies or certificates after the event.
(7) The applicant shall indemnify and hold harmless NRFF from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, cash prizes advertised, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.

    Had the best time at DoD - really well put together, and so affirming to see such a great range of brilliantly curated films. It attracted a great crowd of filmmakers, and you can tell the organisers really care about what they do. Definitely recommend, thanks again to Massi and Jan for creating the space for these films to be exhbited!

    Given the themes of my film 'Finished Sympathy', I couldn't think of a more appropriately named film festival to screen it.

    Dreamers Of Dreams 2026 was an absolute delight. Jan and Massi were wonderful with them making me feel right at home and create a nice friendly space for people to network.

    Additionally the presentation of 'Finished Sympathy' was the best to date with it taking place on a big bright cinema screen at the Close Up Cinema.

    The diverse curation of films was also excellent, ranging from sci fi body horror to avant-garde expressionist works. It felt like something for everyone and it was inspiring to watch films that challenged the traditional ways of making a film.

    Thanks for the honourable mention for Best Experimental Short for 'Finished Sympathy'. Given the amount of talent involved on the night, that was a huge compliment to receive that.

    Certainly one of the best film festivals in London to submit and attend.
