OPEN YOUR MIND

WELCOME to NRFF Dreamers of Dreams. As we embark on a new era of technological and scientific discovery, this festival will spark your imagination and inspire you to think beyond the limitations of everyday life. We are inviting filmmakers to submit shorts and features with a SCIENCE FICTION, FANTASY, EXPERIMENTAL, SPIRITUAL/PHILOSOPHICAL or a ART/MUSIC theme. This can be a narrative story, a documentary, a dance or music video or, an animation. The festival will take place in London, UK, in March 2026.

Dreamers of Dreams is organised by the successful New Renaissance Film Festival (NRFF) ranked in the top 100 best-reviewed film festivals on FilmFreeway. NRFF has screened world and UK premieres and films that went on to win an Oscar!

OUR CURATION: ARTISTICALLY-DRIVEN FILMS, INSPIRING STORIES

Film is a unique medium, and NRFF’s mission is to support and champion inspiring, independent artists and storytellers. This includes experimental work, emotional drama, music, dance and emerging talent.

Our festival is built around ARTISTS and their STORIES. By doing so, we aim to establish an international COMMUNITY of inspiring storytellers. We are not interested in following current fashions or being politically divisive. We seek out stories that are genuinely imaginative, emotional and life-affirming. At the heart of what we do is our passion to tell great stories.

PUSH THE BOUNDARIES OF REALITY

During the festival we hope to screen a wide variety of stories that celebrate and reflect on the human condition, human invention and imagination, and our desire to explore new and uncharted territory.

Great festival in person, great films. An honour to receive a special mention and screening.

  • I had a great time at the 6th DREAMERS OF DREAMS FILM FESTIVAL in May 2025, where SOULMATE managed to nab Best Sci-Fi Short from a very tough field of nominees 😲😲😲😲😲.

Run by Jan and Massi from the New Renaissance Film Festival, Dreamers of Dreams is a space where sci-fi, fantasy, experimental, and more, all thrive, and I loved it. I watched all the programmes - including all the sci-fi nominees - and they were all super creative and bursting with life.

In its 6th year, and a little brother (or sister) to NRFF, Dreamers is the very best example of a boutique festival. I'd thoroughly recommend it to anyone who has inventive, interesting work that some of the bigger festivals might not know what to do with. This is a great place to start. If I had my festival run again, I'd happily premiere SOULMATE here. Thank you to Massi and Jan for their continued support of filmmakers and artists

What an amazing film festival! It was great honour to take part in 2025. It was beautifully curated and run at the Close-Up Film Centre, a great home and library for independent cinema, new knowledge and also networking. A dream come true for all the Dremers of Dreams. And thanks immensely for the nomination of my film and the subsequent award! I saw some really great and inspiring films, so a nod of gratitude to both the festival organisers and all the talented participants. Well done indeed.
